RECAP:

ROAD TO LOLLAPALOOZA 2011 - August 5, 2011, PlayStation Stage

Getting the communication from DJ Dani Deahl that she was performing at Lolla 2011 came just before final production for the Make Your Mark Chicago Tribune Flash Mob on June 4, 2011. This project gave me the opportunity to take my client’s vision and expand it immensely while keeping her vision the #1 Priority. Performing at an optimal time (7:30pm at night, right before Coldplay) and on a major stage (Playstation Stage) kicked the creative gears into high energy. The result, delivering a program that was cognizant of a real concert. We created a 2-minute video intro, developed a “Mad Max-meets the 80s” theme, stage design, booked 4 dancers, dancer intro, and various choreography sequences in addition to a finale the included the dancers moving DJ Dani Deahl’s setup downstage towards the audience. The 2011 Lollapalooza - DJ Dani Deahl project was certainly a project that further fueled my desire to become a Creative Director for artists’ concerts & tours.
